Shale gas is exploited from shale bed; its main part is located in dark mud shale or high carbon clay shale, it is a kind of natural gas which adsorbs to or dissociates in mud stone, high carbon mudstone, shale and silt shale etc. Its main content is alkane. Among its compositions the majority is methane. If fuel gas contains higher quantity of sulfur and ammonia, it not only corrodes the pole of spark plug seriously, but also increases the acid value of lubricant oil, which corrodes internal parts of genset and corrodes the genset with precipitates.
